This year's MMUF Coordinators' Conference was held in New York City at the Musuem of the American Indian (NMAI). The NMAI was chosen as the site for this year's event as part of an effort to focus on American Indian higher education. The conference had many notable speakers among which were the keynote speaker, Dr. Henrietta Mann, Theodore M. Shaw, and plenary panelists Dr. Darren Ranco and Venida Chenault. Mellon fellow and talented classical singer Dr. April Lynn James performed selections by Handel and Mozart.
