MMUF Undergraduate Journal - Due Date for Submissions

Jul '22

Harvard University's MMUF program, which publishes the MMUF Undergraduate Journal each year, invites the submission of undergraduate papers for consideration in the 2022 edition.  The purpose of the Journal is to give MMUF recipients the opportunity to share their research projects and findings with the Mellon community and beyond, as well as to become familiarized with the critical process of composition and publication in the scholarly trajectory.  Works may be up to eight pages in length, double-spaced, and may be the culmination of research conducted under the Mellon program, an excerpt from a thesis or any larger work, or a paper for a favorite class.  There is no formal structure to the paper; however, we encourage students to utilize the format most associated with their discipline of practice.  In that regard, figures, footnotes, and citations should be included (and would not count toward the eight-page maximum length).MMUF mentors and coordinators are encouraged to be actively involved in the draft process.

The deadline for submission of draft papers is Tuesday, July 5, 2022.  Authors should complete the form and submit HERE[For your convenience, please find the direct link to the URL below.] Once papers have been received they will be reviewed by the MMUF Journal editorial board and forwarded to the editor-in-chief, who will work with authors on final versions.

(Links to electronic copies of the 2021 Journal, as well as previous years, can be found on the MMUF page of the Harvard URAF website.  Due to supply chain challenges, the printed copies typically sent to authors and institutions has been delayed but are on the way.)
